Juarez City- A drunk driver caused a road accident this morning, when she lost control of her truck while traveling on the Independencia Bypass near Zaragoza Boulevard, elements of the General Road Safety Coordination (CGSV) reported.
The driver of a gray Ford Explorer was driving erratically, zigzagging along the Bypass, where she hit the driver of a cherry Nissan Versa and then against the fence of an overpass, a Highway Safety agent indicated.
Due to the mishap, the passage of vehicles was interrupted at that point in the direction from south to north.
Elements of the CGSV flagged the site and moved the vehicles involved to prepare the initial expert opinion.
The responsible driver, whose identity was not provided, was taken to the Road Safety facilities as a detainee.
