The tenth round of the season did not smile at all on Toyota and its drivers, with Sebastien Ogier’s attempt to recover on Thierry Neuville did not go well in Greece. Added to this were the other technical problems suffered by Evans and Katsuta, for a round decidedly in favour of the Hyundai. The Korean manufacturer in fact concluded with a one-two, but above all with the victory of Thierry Neuville (his second of the season) which allows the Belgian driver to extend his lead over Tänak in the standings by 34 points with three rounds to go. An advantage that also increases for Hyundai over Toyota in the Constructors’ standings, with the Japanese team now 35 points behind.
