Wehrlein solo
The pole position of Pascal Wehrlein in the Monaco E-Prix, combined with the two missteps of Oliver Rowland and Jake Dennis, offered the German Porsche driver the great opportunity of being able to widen the gap in the general classification on the two drivers mentioned. A mission that did not succeed as desired for the former Sauber, thanks to the 5th place which allowed him to go solo, but not to accumulate a considerable advantage.
New trackers
At present, in fact, Wehrlein is the new absolute leader, having already become such thanks to the 3 extra points from the pole which allowed him to no longer share the top with Dennis. With 102 points totals, the German now has a gap of 7 lengths over Nick Cassidywho with 2nd place contributed to Jaguar's double in the Principality together with Evans' victory. Dennis20th at the finish line after a contact with Sette Camara, relegated to third place remaining stuck at 89 points, +1 on Rowland. The triumph of Jaguar allows the English manufacturer to move up in the rankings reserved for teams +44 on the Porschenow second after overtaking on Andretti. Furthermore, the US team will also have to defend itself from the return of Nissan, just one point behind the top-3.
