DR and the lawsuit with Jacky Ickx
In recent days there has been talk again about the lawsuit brought by Jacky Ickx to DR and the fact that the ruling of the Court of Turin has been released based on which DR lost in the argument. We remind you that the legal case promoted by Ickx was first discussed in the summer of 2023 with a precautionary proceedings before the Court of Turin.
The sentence and the appeal
The Court of Turin recently confirmed the first sentence on appeal, namely the prohibition of use of the “Ickx” brand, in precautionary phasewhile the judgment on the merits is still underway.

The judge in Turin with the de facto ruling prohibits the use of the name “Ickx” by Dr Automobiles Srl and Gino Spa, ordering the withdrawal from the car trade marked with the emblem “Ickx” within 60 days. Furthermore, the temporary transfer of the domain name www.ickx.it in favor of is ordered Jacky Bernard Ickx and established fines in case of violation of the injunction and delay in carrying out the order.
The company specifies that it owes the former driver nothing, except the legal costs of the precautionary phase. Customers who already own a K2 they are not affected in any way by the precautionary order.
DR's off-road vehicle is called “ICH-X”
