Donald Trump gave his first extensive interview after his conviction to three Fox News hosts. During the conversation, I drew attention to the question asked by Rachel Campos-Duffy, co-host of “Fox & Friends Weekend,” about how he was going to restore trust in institutions like the CIA and the FBI.
Campos-Duffy mentioned Americans’ distrust in institutions and suggested that one way to regain trust could be to declassify information of public interest.
Regarding Epstein’s files, Trump also agreed to declassify them, but was cautious by adding that he did not want to affect people’s lives if the information contained falsehoods.

Trump also offered to declassify documents related to the riot at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. According to ‘The Washington Post’, this posture of distrust towards institutions is a constant in Trump’s rhetoric, who has used and promoted this perception to your benefit.
