Mexico City.- Authorities from the Miguel Hidalgo mayor’s office recently implemented the “School Garden“, where neighbors, neighbors and the general public from all demarcations can go to learn and build their own urban gardens.
Its objective is to promote and replicate the urban agriculturehas environmental specialists who provide training for 10 weeks in which students acquire the necessary knowledge to plant and have their own harvest at home.
So far, more than 116 people and 17 public servants from the mayor Miguel Hidalgo they have received the knowledge of the “Orchard School” and will be able to replicate what they have learned among their families.
Mayor Mauricio Tabe indicated that all participants in the school who cover all the lessons receive the MH Urban Agriculture Recognition. As part of the Reverdece MH Program, the urban gardens of Lincoln and Caneguin parks are rehabilitated.
