The events happened in a nightclub in Brazil, specifically in the local Bothanic club in the city of Brasilia. During the celebrations, Marco Túlio Bomtempo was dived into the artificial waterfall specially decorated for guests. She wanted to cool off and have fun, but things didn't go as the 33-year-old and his friends had imagined. Due to the electric shock, Marco was hit by a cardiac arrest which left him no escape.
It was one of his who recounted those dramatic minutes on the local news Friendwitness of the whole scene:
Marco had announced that he would dive into the waterfall to cool off a bit. Then he took off his shirt, gave it to a girl and dove into the water.

The guests immediately alerted the emergency services, who quickly reached the venue. Health workers have tried to resuscitate the young person for over 50 minutes, unfortunately without success. Eventually they were forced to declare the death. The police also intervened in the matter, opening an investigation file and listening to all those present.
The owners of the club expressed their condolences to the victim's family and wanted to underline to the authorities that guests were not allowed to jump into the water. This is a waterfall that has the sole decorative purpose, to make their environment pleasant to the eyes of customers. No one before Marco had ever used it to take a bath.
