Joe Shely technical director of the title Blizzard most awaited than the moment, Diablo IVconfirmed how long the campaign will last in terms of time and level attainable by the players but the revelations do not stop there.
In fact, we know that the ranking of Paragon levels will return, the longtime players of Diablo III they already know but let’s explain for completeness: once the character’s maximum base level is reached, each extra level is defined as Paragon and unlocks different passive powers manageable by the player on the character he is using.
The Diablo IV campaign will last roughly 35 hours and the game’s developers expect the average character level to be around 45 at that point but do not worry: once you reach the threshold of level 100 in the game, you will unlock various contents defined “End Game”.
A new system called Bounty Tree of Whispers it will be unlocked upon reaching level 100 and will put you in front of daily or weekly missions, as well as the mode “Nightmare Dungeon”: both modes will reward you with legendary items and rare crafting materials.
“You have access to Tree of Whispers, you have access to Nightamere Dungeons and other endgame activities that we are still working on. We really wanted you to have a wide variety of things to do and of course you can upgrade the fortress, making sure the difficulty of the world keeps up with the power of your character’s level.
The Paragon levels will not be unlocked before the character’s level 50 threshold and once you reach level 100 on the Paragon (in practice it is as if the character was level 150) you will have 200 points to spend in the various passive specs. Apparently, however, contrary to what happened with Diablo III in Diablo IV Paragon cards are not shared by all characters the account has created but, unlike what you think, they are specific to each character so you will have to choose which one to carry on and which one to leave on the bench!
