It must be said that in reality the portals of the bundle do not only change color, but also have different shapes and that the purchase pays off game currency worth about $10. It should be added that this is a completely optional purchase, which entails nothing in terms of progression.
Unfortunately for Blizzard, the atmosphere around Diablo 4's microtransactions has become heated in recent days, due to some sales tactics, with paid items being advertised alongside free unlockable items and, more generally, with there Season 3 which is not fully convincing. The players then became more attentive and began to notice offers like the one from the portals, which they were left in disbelief at.
Excessive prices
In the post on Reddit where the controversy started, one player defined the price of the package as an insult, another pointed out that for the same price you can buy a complete game like Palworld.
Then there are those who have not criticized theoffer in itself, as much as the fact that the different portals are linked to classes, i.e. they cannot be used freely. There are even those who said they would have bought them if they had been free.
That said, it should be remembered that Diablo 4 does not have any microtransactions pay-to-winalthough many still consider certain prices excessive, considering that we are talking about a game that can be purchased at full price.
