Like all large laptop manufacturers, Dell also presented its Copilot+ range of PCs which involves five historic models of the house.
Among these the new ones stand out XPS 13L’Inspiron 14 and the Latitude 7455, equipped with the brand new Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus SoCs and all aimed at the increasingly central AI PC segment. Let’s discover together all the details of the new arrivals at Dell.
XPS, Inspiron and Latitude with Snapdragon X Elite
Dell has enriched its range of laptops with five models that focus entirely on productivity and artificial intelligence.
Kicking off the Copilot+ PCs is the new XPS 13 with Snapdragon X Elite chip 12 cores and 12 threads, accompanied by 16 GB of LPDDR5x-8400 (available up to 64 GB) and 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage (available up to 2 TB).
The 13.4-inch display with FHD+ resolution has a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, but Dell offers two variants with an OLED touch display of 2880 x 1800 pixels at 60 Hz and an IPS touch display of 2560 x 1600 pixels at 120 Hz.
Connectivity is guaranteed by support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, while two USB 4.0 ports complete the picture. Finally, the 55 Wh battery with a declared autonomy of up to 27 hours.
Inspirion 14 Plus and Inspiron 14 they are made of aluminum and feature a 10-core Snapdragon X Elite SoC, with 16 GB of LPDDR5X-8448 and 512 GB of storage (with an additional SSD slot available).
The 14-inch touch display has a QHD+ resolution with a 16:10 ratio and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. In this case Dell declares battery life of up to 14 hours.
In the end Latitude 7455 in variants with Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plussupported by 32 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of M.2 2230 SSD memory. Connectivity is guaranteed by two USB4 Type-C ports and a 5G SIM slot, with the possibility of adding the optional fingerprint reader.
Prices and availability
The XPS 13 and Inspiron 14 Plus are available for pre-order now, with starting prices from 1299 and 1,099 dollars respectively. Latitude 7455, Inspiron 14 and Latitude 5455 will be available in the coming months.
The week saw the launch of many more Copilot+ PCs accompanied by the advanced AI features of Windows 11. Among these, the new Vivobook S 15 from ASUS, the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge and the new Yoga Slim and ThinkPad range from Lenovo stand out.
