The State of Play for January 2024 aired today and through this we had the opportunity to see Death Stranding 2 On The Beach, official name of the game. It was also confirmed that the release year is 2025.
The video shows us Fragile and a new character who are treating an unidentified person. This one has strange marks on her skin, like those of an octopus, from which spikes emerge.
Let's see then Sam, who is shown a ship by Fragile, which apparently will be the character's base of operations. In the dialogue, some plot details are revealed which will certainly find more space in the final version. Also curious is the fact that the characters are blue.
Fragile also offers Sam a new ally, a sort of living puppet. Sam then begins exploring (on foot) various regions to create new chiral connections. Then Higgs, an opponent from the first game, reappears in a new format (and complete with guitar). We also see the character played by Elle Fanning, although it is not clear what role she will have in the story.
