Several strikes resulted in at least two deaths and the injury of 16 other people in eastern and northeastern Ukraine, especially in Kharkiv, the country’s second largest city, according to what local authorities reported on Sunday.
Vadim Velashkin, governor of the Donetsk region, said via the Telegram application, “In Pokrovsk, the fall of missiles led to the death of two people and damage to a house.”
This town is located about 60 km northwest of Donetsk, the capital of the region.
In Kharkiv, bombing injured at least ten people, according to Oleg Sinigubov, governor of the northeastern region.
Sinigubov said on Telegram that the city was bombed by a “guided aerial bomb.”
Another attack, during the night, injured six people, including a little girl who was born in 2015, as Oleg Snegubov had previously indicated.
In addition, the Ukrainian Air Force announced that the Russian army launched 24 drones during the night of Saturday and Sunday, confirming that it shot down 23 of them.
