De Zerbi coach of Real Madrid after Ancelotti? Bombshell rumors from England
Roberto De Zerbi is the favorite to take over Carlo Ancelotti’s legacy as Real Madrid coach. In England they have no doubts, the current manager of Brighton (third in the Premier League, three points from Manchester City and one from Liverpool) is in first place in Florentino Perez’s preferences to lead the merengues next year.
In fact, Ancelotti’s contract with Real Madrid is expiring and in the next few months he will become Brazil’s technical commissioner (2026 World Cup mission: the only trophy Carletto is missing and the primary objective of the Seleçao which hasn’t won since 2002) and the toto-name selection has already started for his succession, with De Zerbi in the lead.
