The young 17-year-old guitarist, David Vega Vera, student at the National Conservatory of Music, son of the prominent Cajatambino guitarist David Vega Rivera, announces his first presentation, which will mark the beginning of his career as a concert guitarist. The young artist will perform national and international repertoire as a soloist, then will perform a duet with his father. Finally, both, with his sister Marycielo. In addition, the evening will feature other guest artists and a musical setting.
David Vega Vera, who from his cradle had the sound of the guitar caressing his ears, began his guitar lessons at the age of five, guided by his father, from whom he inherited his talent. At the age of ten, he entered the National Conservatory of Musicwhere he received training for five years.

Who is David Vega Vera?
This young guitar talent performs songs from different regions and styles of the great masters of the folklore national. Together with the Vega Concert, a family musical group led by his father, he has already toured several provinces. In addition, at his young age, he is director of the San Tarsicio children's choir, of the Santa María de la Providencia parish.
His first guitar
His father says that David had an inclination for music since he was a baby and was very attentive when he listened to his father with his musical group. “I remember he grabbed a mandolin and started playing it saying, 'This is my guitar.'” Seeing this condition, he bought him a small guitar with which he began to study.
