The Spanish Data Protection Agency has imposed a fine of 5,000 euros on MEP Luis ‘Alvise’ Pérez for disseminating, on his Telegram channel where he has hundreds of thousands of followers, a photo of the minor daughter of Minister Óscar Puente when The young woman was 17 years old. The resolution, which sanctions the leader of Se Acabó La Fiesta investigated for illegal financing, understands that posting the photo on his channel was “excessive” and “unnecessary”, sanctioning him with the same amount that was imposed on a pseudo media outlet.

The former mayor of Valladolid and today Minister of Transport has been, for years, one of the main targets of the harassment strategy of Alvise and other far-right influencers. The SALF leader has used his accounts on different social networks, especially his Telegram channel, to post photos of politicians and journalists implying that they were doing something illegal. In the case of Óscar Puente, several of these publications were going to reveal data about his personal life.

It was Alvise who shared several images of Puente with a young woman at a music festival on his Telegram channel: his daughter, who was 17 years old at the time. Both he and several pseudo-media outlets also stated that she was not his daughter but a “friend,” implying that she was his lover. The ultra State of Alarm channel was already fined by the AEPD with another 5,000 euros for this same reason. A company belonging to the now MEP has already been sanctioned by this body, in that case after a complaint from Facuafor violating data protection regulations.

The Agency’s new resolution explains that this photo publication had “great reach” on a Telegram channel that has hundreds of thousands of subscribers. Furthermore, after being published, the followers of today’s MEP began to comment on the photo and accepted the insinuations that the young woman was Óscar Puente’s lover and not his daughter. “There have been numerous messages that questioned the relationship between the complaining party and what, in reality, is his father. “A circumstance that implies greater severity in the offending conduct due to the consequences that such comments may have on the claimed party.”

The sanction not only imposes 5,000 euros but also forces him, definitively and not provisionally, to remove that image. A photo that follows, at this time, on his Telegram channel with the MEP’s watermark. “I know what you say, to whom, where and when, Óscar Puente. Like right now with your ‘friend’ at MadCool,” said the message that accompanied the photos of the minor in July of last year.

Investigated for illegal financing

Luis ‘Alvise’ Pérez has been, since last summer, an MEP in Brussels after ‘Se Acabó La Fiesta’, his group of voters, which in the last European elections obtained more than 800,000 votes and three seats. The National Court is investigating whether he financed his political adventure with the 100,000 euros that, as elDiario.es exclusively revealed, the cryptocurrency sector businessman Álvaro Romilla gave him in cash.

As an MEP, Pérez is registered in the Supreme Court, but the case is in the hands of the National Court because it was the first to open a case regarding the collapse of the investment platform run by Romillo, also known as ‘cryptospain’. For the moment, the investigating judge has offered Alvise a voluntary statement, which he has refused. Those affected by the bankruptcy of the platform want it investigated whether that money came from their investments and whether it contributed to the end of the Madeira Invest Club.

Alvise publicly acknowledged that he collected those 100,000 euros in cash, which according to the Prosecutor’s Office could constitute a crime of illegal financing, taking into account that he collected the money a few hours before hitting the road in his electoral campaign for the European elections. According to his version, which he has not proven at the moment, he collected that money as “autonomous” and “without invoice”, that is, in black and with his back turned to the Treasury.
