The workshop is owned by Jesús Beltrán Meza and is located in the popular Rubén Jaramillo neighborhood.
Don Chuy, as his clients and friends know him, pointed out that on average they do about 20 jobs per week, mainly construction machinery repairs.
“It varies a lot, because there are jobs that can take four or five days to complete and there are jobs that take 10 or 15 minutes. But an estimate, well we can talk about that in a week we can do 20 to 25 jobs,” he commented.
“Although it is more for construction machinery, we also repair agricultural, automotive and industrial equipment. “It is what we are most dedicated to,” he added.
History
Don Chuy is originally from Culiacan, and arrived in Los Mochis when he was 19 years old. He started working when he was young, and became a turner by chance.
“I am a turner all the time. It is my way of life, the best entertainment I can have,” she expressed.
After working in a workshop that was located on the Los Mochis-Topolobampo highway and in the workshop Food from the Fort, In 1986 he decided to start his own business.
“I saved up and bought a machine, which cost me about 50 thousand pesos. I started by myself. Then I bought another machine and hired two people. Constant challenges
The main inputs of the workshop are cast iron, bronze, and of course, steel, in its carbon, stainless and treated forms.

In that sense, he pointed out that one of the main challenges of the business has been facing the increases in both the cost of materials and tools, although he pointed out that they have remained stable for some time.
Likewise, he mentioned that one of the main constant expenses of the business is the payment of electric energy service, which takes around 10% of the monthly profit.
