Again innocent lives lost and grieving familiesbecause of the political negligence.
And they can say mass and justify everything they like and order, but what happened last Wednesday nightin San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo Leónhas no other name than “criminal negligence”.
Yeah, “criminal negligence” in which both the municipal and state authoritiesBesides of Citizen Movement party and its candidatesincluding the presidential candidate, Jorge Álvarez Máynez.
Yeah, “criminal negligence“, that cost the lives of nine citizens that they should not have die and that will leave many others with lifelong injuries.
Yes, “criminal negligence,” because the National Weather Service warnedwith hours in advanceof the heavy rain and gusty winds of up to 70 kilometers per hour, in addition to Civil Protection -state and municipal-, They should not have authorized a 10 meter high templelike the one that was installed, in those weather conditions.
Yeah, “criminal negligence” which confirms what everyone knows; that what matters least to MC’s “fantoches” is the safety, life and well-being of citizens.
And if in the campaign they do not care about security and citizen life, they care even less when they are in government, like that of Nuevo León, “badly governed” by another “fantoche” from MC, named Samuel García.
But the incredible thing is that such “fantasy” was captured on video, where the scene is not only pathetic, but revealing.
The first to run to safety was the presidential candidate, Jorge Álvarez Máynez, without trying to rescue anyone – and even less the woman who cheered him – after the wind knocked down the temple where “emecista” candidates were closing the campaign. .
Yes, whether you like it or not, the truth is that the creators of the nonsense called “the new politics” do not give a damn about the safety, life and well-being of citizens.
And if MC, its presidential candidate, its governor and the state and municipal authorities had cared about the lives and safety of citizens, they would have canceled the closing of MC’s campaign in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León. and nine people would still be alive.
But let’s take it step by step.
1.- On the morning of Wednesday, May 22, 2024, the National Meteorological Service of Conagua issued a statement about the weather conditions in the country for that day.
This is what it says verbatim about the weather in Monterrey and its metropolitan area: “From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., occasional strong showers and rains, electric shocks, possible hail and wind gusts of 50 to 70 are forecast. KPH in Nuevo León and in the metropolitan area of Monterrey.” (END OF QUOTE)
As is clear, no one paid attention, not Civil Protection – state and/or municipal -, not MC, not its leaders and even less so its candidates.
Is “criminal negligence” “the new policy”?
2.- Worse still, after the tragedy, the governor of Nuevo León, the “emecista” Samuel García offered a press conference in which, with lies, he tried to justify what happened.
Yes, in a cynical and irresponsible way, Samuel García said that “what happened took us by surprise, since not even a storm was predicted.”
He lied. Is lying the new politics?
3.- In turn, the presidential candidate of MC, Jorge Álvarez Máynez insisted, at all times, that what happened in San Pedro Garza García was an accident and he did not accept any responsibility, whether from his party or from the government of his friend Samuel García or himself.
But Álvarez Máynez’s tweets soon appeared on the networks in which he questions the criminal negligence of the head of government of CDMX.
This is what Máynez wrote on November 5, 2019: “Claudia Sheinbaum is responsible for the death of the children at Rébsamen School. She didn’t make him shake, but she didn’t fulfill her responsibility to close the school. The same thing happens today with pollution. She doesn’t set fires, but she doesn’t do what she has to do.” (END OF QUOTE)
Máynez returned to the topic on May 2, 2023. This is what he wrote on the social network (X): “Sheinbaum knew that what happened in Rébsamen could happen and he did not do what he had to do. Sheinbaum knew that what happened on Line 12 could happen and he didn’t do his job. They also warned him that he could happen what happened on line 3. And he did nothing.” (END OF QUOTE)
Yes, whether Máynez likes it or not, what happened in San Pedro Garza, which cost nine lives, is “criminal negligence” not only of his party, of himself and of his compadre Samuel García.
Yes, criminal negligence that kills, that costs innocent lives and that does not deserve a single citizen vote.
At the time.
