The victim of the homicide died on December 12th. Police still do not confirm the names of the gangs involved in the clash.
Legal has arrested a man born in 1991 on suspicion of murder in connection with the Lahti gangs. Already in the past, the court has imprisoned two other men on suspicion of the act.
Police have previously reported that two previously imprisoned people have been linked to organized crime. According to police, it was a clash between the two groups, but only members of the other group are suspected of the crime.
Aarnisalo says there may be more arrests. For investigative reasons, he does not want to reveal exactly what he believes has led to the violence.
Victim, A man born in the 1970s, fell victim to a felony on December 12th. The victim previously belonged to Cannonball and more recently to the Blue Cross Vikings Club, which was founded about a year ago.
At least one of the imprisoned men has once had a United Brotherhood background as well as a serious crime background. HS has also been told of various sources about the possible connections of the persons and events involved in the case to the hellish angels, but this information has not been confirmed by the police.
United Brotherhood was for a long time the only vest gang in Lahti, although the motorcycle gang Cannonball has also been active in Heinola near Lahti. However, the gang situation in the city has been in a state of flux since the court ordered a temporary ban on the United Brotherhood during the gang’s liquidation process.
However, HS is not aware that this manslaughter involved a clash between competing groups. For example, the Blue Cross Vikings and the Angels of Hell have reportedly been on good terms, as have the Angels of the United Brotherhood and the Angels of Hell.
According to Aarnisalo’s speeches, no major flares between the gangs are expected as a result of the murder under investigation.
“This was a showdown between the two groups. For the general public, this poses no danger, ”he says.
