The Rt, the Covid transmissibility index calculated with data updated to April 17, in Italy “is below the epidemic threshold, equal to 0.96 (0.79–1.15), slightly decreasing compared to the previous week ( Rt 1.01); the incidence of diagnosed and reported cases (8-14 April) is equal to 0.82 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, substantially stable compared to the previous week; the weekly incidence has a heterogeneous trend in the different regions and provinces compared to the previous week. The highest incidence was reported in Lombardy (1.6 cases per 100,000 inhabitants), no cases were reported from the regions of Basilicata, Calabria and the autonomous province of Bolzano.
