Covid, Aifa green light, fourth dose to the immunosuppressed

The Aifa CTS met yesterday and expressed a favorable opinion sent to the Ministry of Health

Green light from the Technical Scientific Commission (Cts) of‘Italian Medicines Agency (Aifa) – according to what ANSA learns – at the ‘fourth’ dose of the anti-Covid vaccine for severely immunosuppressed subjects. The Cts of Aifa it met yesterday and expressed a favorable opinion sent to the Ministry of Health. Technically this is not a 4th dose but the booster dose at the end of the compound primary vaccination course by 2 doses and 1 additional dose. The ‘4th’ dose will be administered with mRna vaccines. Times of administration are the same as for the booster dose for the general population.
