The Premier League Wednesday night cover is all for Southampton: the Saints make the big voice at Conte’s Tottenham house and, after being behind for large stretches of the game, they come back in the final with two goals in three minutes, winning a victory (3-: Broja, Elyounoussi and Adams cancel Bednarek’s own goal and Son’s goal) which slows down the ambitions of the Londoners (Bergwijn’s 3-3 in recovery is canceled for offside). A less eventful game is staged in Manchester: City rule Brentford (2-0 by Mahrez and De Bruyne) and consolidate their first place in the standings. In key safety, Norwich equalized with Crystal Palace (1-1: Zaha responds to Pukki). Gerrard and Bielsa give life to a spectacular back and forth: Aston Villa-Leeds ends 3-3 (double by Ramsey and James, goals by Coutinho and Llorente).
