Coronavirus Government introduces precautionary measures due to Foreign Minister Haavisto’s corona infection – Prime Minister Marin’s test result negative

Prime Minister Sanna Marin (sd) said on Twitter that she had applied for a corona test after an infection in Haavisto. Marin will take the test for the second time on Monday.

In the Government has introduced precautionary measures by the Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto (green) coronavirus infection.

Haavisto got a positive result from the corona test on Saturday night. He has been reported to be asymptomatic and to work remotely from home for the time being.

Case therefore, the Prime Minister’s Security Director has instructed ministers and some officials to avoid contact for the time being as a precautionary measure, the Government’s Communications Department informs. In addition, according to the press release, they have been instructed to apply for a corona test before returning to local work.

In order to avoid contacts, there will be changes to the program of some ministers in the coming days.
