Copa Libertadores: the tough rivals of Tolima and Cali in the group stage

The South American Football Confederation carries out the draw for the Copa Libertadores 2022 group stage at this time. The draw left complicated paths for the two surviving Colombian teams in the tournament.

Sports Tolima and Sports Cali, champions in the two Dimayor tournaments in 2021, are the Colombian representatives. Millonarios and Nacional were eliminated in the second qualifying phase.

Tolima will have to face two Brazilian clubs, Atlético Mineiro and América Mineiro, and Independiente del Valle, from Ecuador, which has already won a South American and was runner-up in the Copa Libertadores. It is not an easy road.
