We are just a few weeks away from the launch of Mario vs. donkey kong, a remake of the classic puzzle game for the Game Boy Advance. In addition to offering completely new content, this version also offers us a recreation of the events that we all already know. Thus, a comparison gives us an idea of the visual leap that awaits us.
A few days ago, Nintendo shared the introductory scene of Mario vs. donkey kong for Nintendo Switch. As expected, GameXPlain has taken on this new job, and shows us what the remake looks like head-to-head with the original work. To no one's surprise, this is a very noticeable jump.
This improved version of Mario vs. donkey kong offers over 130 levels and a two-player mode that helps you, and your friends, take on challenges in entirely new ways. Along with this, this version includes Merry Mini-Land and Slippery Summit, two worlds full of never-before-seen with a couple of new features. And if that was not enough, It is also possible to unlock Plus and higher difficulty levels.
If this is not enough, Mario vs. donkey kong offers us two new game styles: Casual and Classic, each with a different difficulty. We remind you that this title will arrive on the Nintendo Switch on February 16, 2024. On related topics, here you can see the new progress of this experience. Likewise, the next Mario in 3D is leaked.
Editor's Note:
Nintendo should make more remakes of this style. The Game Boy Advance is a console with a huge library of games that are very worthwhile, and while the Switch Online has given us access to some of these titles, I would love to see a remake of Minish Cap, Golden Sun, or other the experiences that marked this generation.
