Columns Anneli Tempakka was a slandered media educator of my youth, and now a similar character is raising her head in me

Generations meet in the middle ground between lifehack tubers and Radio Finland’s traffic information, writes film editor Veli-Pekka Lehtonen.

For lunch hit a ten-year-old. When the table was set, a question was asked in my direction: can I study to be a tube teacher?

The question of generations struck us like a steel slat. There is no tubet school, I replied. Tubetters are just starting to tubet. I did not say that it is a road to the Prime Minister’s inner circle.

It survived the spinach halfway through.

The lunch club had fallen ill. It was watched Roni Bäck and others. Someone had tested the nickname in the video, or in the language of a ten-year-old lifehackia. It’s even about making a video that tests whether popcorn can be colored by tossing colored chocolate candies in a pot in addition to corn kernels. The tubular generation knows the answer.

On the side ear I listened to what the reporter Aki Laine said Radio Finland about fighter acquisition. The fact did not seem to interest the lunch club.

Soon the peace of food was cut by the question of money. Does Youtube pay for tubers? The ten-year-old wanted to know how a commercial “co-operative cat” works. I told you that the advertiser pays when the goods are featured in the video. Same as in the movies: if a brand appears, it’s usually no coincidence.

Long then the work in front of the cameras might have been a more desirable occupation alongside the sweeper driver, but most of the information was on paper from bank books to encyclopedias.

Everything the decade of the 2020s has learned from mobile videos and children’s programs, Hannah Montana- and Get the midwife series or as told by Roni Bäck? The mother tongue is spoken and listened to, not read and written as before.

Couch potatoes, a picture of our time.

We moved For the main course, yesterday’s spaghetti. I got a report on fresh tubetics about new games, face creams, a cola drink and an amusement park. Was there anything unfortunate about the products, I asked. The media educator raised his head in me.

Even ten years ago, it was clear that no one was shouting in the tubettaja video that it was boring at this theme park!

I tried to make up for the generation gap as a radio educator in my youth Anneli Tempakka as a consensus. I mentioned TV news for children. You watch them at school! I was looking for a difference between a supplier and a tuber. The reporter writes and the tuber describes the videos, there was an estimate behind an empty plate. Anything else? Can I get off the table, there was an answer.

The message from the tubetts drew a young knee. The dog licked the plates, the dishwasher door collapsed, and Radio Finland began traffic announcements.
