The controller is still a prototype and needs some tweaking, but the first test on PS5 was successful.
PlayStation has demonstrated the enormous potential of its new controller, DualSense, in a number of ways. From features in recent titles like Kena: Bridge of Spirits, to letting you feel the music on Spotify. However, one fan decided to go further, and created his own control inspired by the gigantic cloud sword, and obviously, he used it to play Final Fantasy VII Remake.
The controller is still a prototype, but it worked fine on PS5.His name is Spooky Louis 64, and this creation of his, came out of the technology used by motion controls, such as the Wii Remote. However, its operation does not cloud the model of the sword that this fan bothered to make, which although it looks very similar to the famous weapon, also shares its expected complications, such as its weight.
Weight is not the only problem, as its grip turned out to be too small to handle such a thing. Still, the first test done on PS5 was successful, and the command responded well to Spooky Louis 64’s movements.
It is worth mentioning that the control is still a prototype, and will go through several adjustments, before being considered finished. This is not a simple project done at random, as this person already has experience designing their own controls, alternating the operation of some already existing ones. For instance, modified the Ring-Con from Ring Fit Adventure to play Final Fantasy XIV.
What do you think of the Spooky Louis 64 experiment? Remember that you can update free to Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade if you purchased the PS4 version, and this reissue of the game includes all of the previously released DLC.
