Five members of the group are sentenced Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) for depriving three of their liberty students from the University of Audiovisual Media (CAAV) in 2018.
The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) Jalisco reported the sentence to 75 years in prison and reparation for the damagefor five people for the crime of aggravated kidnapping, committed in the three CAAV students.
The students Javier Salomón Aceves, Jesús Daniel Díaz García and Marco Francisco García Ávalos went to a home in the Los Amiales neighborhood, in Tonalato do a film work on March 19, 2018.
However, when they left the place and when driving on Periférico Nuevo, in the same municipality, they were intercepted and deprived of their freedom by those indicated.
The Public Ministry of the Federation (MPF) took on the case, which was widely reported in the media, and began the investigations.
The MPF managed to locate various addresses in Tonalá, where they found evidence that the young people had been held in those places.
The Trial Court evaluated all the evidence provided, and the Federal Judge handed down the aforementioned sentence against these five people.
The convicted kidnappers of the CJNG are:
Eduardo Geovani Gómez Reynoso, alias “COCHI”
Christian Omar Palma Gutiérrez, alias “QBA”
Jonathan Alejandro Anaya Delgadillo, alias “KALIMBA”
Miguel Ángel Casillas Pérez, alias “TUN TUN”
Jonathan Josué Hernández Moreno, alias “CHOCO”
It is worth mentioning that they were sentenced for the kidnapping of the three CAAV students But until now it is not known with certainty what happened to the young people, since the official version is that they were murdered and dissolved in acid, but both the relatives of the victims and civil society did not accept this information.
