After selling over 50 million copies, the famous revelation manga “City Hunter” finally becomes a live action film with an all-Japanese production! The infamous cold-blooded but passionate protagonist lands in modern-day Tokyo.
Ryo Saeba is a 'sweeper' who lives in the Shinjuku district and is responsible for cleaning up trouble within the ruthless underworld. Although he is an unparalleled playboy with great difficulty keeping a cool head in the presence of beautiful women, the moment he accepts an assignment he completes it using unerring aim, impressive athletic skills and an enviable calm. Ryohei Suzuki plays the deadpan, mad and mischievous Ryo, while Misato Morita brings heroine Kaori Makimura to life. Masanobu Ando and Fumino Kimura are respectively Ryo's partner Hideyuki Makimura and Saeko Nogami, the splendid detective with a complicated relationship with the protagonist.
