SPOILER ALERT | Chucky, the series is already in Peru and all of Latin America through the Star Plus streaming platform. And although many fans have managed to see the devilish doll created by Don Mancini, they no longer need to make any moves on other pages. Now, what is being talked about a lot is what connection this latest installment has with the previous films in the saga.
As recently commented, Chucky, the series is the continuation of the film Cult of Chucky (The Cult of Chucky, 2017). Also, some followers have noticed different references to past films in this production. Have you noticed any? Here we tell you what are the references in chapter 1.

Woman in red
In one of the first scenes, in which Jake buys Chucky, a woman can be seen wearing a red coat and a silk scarf on her head. She is the actress Jennifer Tilly, who played Tiffany Valentine, the bride of Chucky.
The cell phone call
Jake decides to sell Chucky online because he needs the money. When he finds a buyer, he calls him on his cell phone, but strangely he warns Jake about the doll. The alleged interested party is Alex Vincent, best known for giving life to Andy Barclay in the first two tapes of the Child’s play saga.

The batteries
Following the troubling message from the tester, Jake decides to check Chucky’s batteries. However, it is a big surprise to verify that it does not have any. This image is very similar to the film Chucky 1, where Andy’s mother, Karen barclay (Catherine Hicks), also check the back of the Good guy doll.
Chucky to the garbage can
A peculiar and funny scene can be the classic one of throwing Chucky in the garbage can. If you are a good fan, you will have noticed it in other movies like the third installment of Child’s play (1991) and Curse of Chucky (The Curse of Chucky, 2013), when Sarah Pierce finds Chucky too nasty to keep. The same happens in episode 1 of the series. Jake, realizing that Chucky works without batteries, throws it away.

“Tell me!”
Jake discovers that Chucky has life and when he has left it, only misfortunes or very strange situations have occurred. Therefore, just before the end, Jake demands that Chucky manifest himself and says: “Talk to me, damn it.” This It’s the same line Andy’s mom tells Chucky when it’s about to burn it in The Devil Doll 1.
There is no doubt that the script is made with extreme pressure to surprise and take Chucky fans back to the past. Do not miss any chapter of the series by Star +.
