The Next Friday, November 29, the children of Camargo will be the protagonists of the lighting of the lights with which the Camargo City Council will begin the Christmas celebrations, with more than a million light bulbs. He Mayor, Diego Movellánhas invited all families to join this event, which is part of the programming that the Department of Celebrations has designed for the Camargue Christmas, which will be presented shortly and in which, it has been announced, there will be outstanding novelties aimed at people of all ages.
As Movellán has detailed, The lighting of the lights will take place in the pedestrian area of the urban center, on Constitución Street, starting at 7:00 p.m.. Among the notable developments, the mayor has drawn attention to the fact that The Concorde Bridge will be adorned, for the first time, with a reinforcement of Christmas lighting using an LED strip along its perimeter closure.

While in Bilbao Avenue, one of the main arteries of the municipality, has proceeded to introduce zigzag lighting along the avenuewhose trees have also been ornamented with various decorative elements. Furthermore, in the pedestrian zone, residents and visitors will find “original surprises”, with walkable motifs and a reinforcement of lighting in Plaza María Blanchard.
Outside the urban center, which premieres all types of garlands and elements, as well as the Lorenzo Cagigas Park, in which the traditional tree “completely changes” its image from years ago, the elements of the districts have been renovated and reinforced, following last year’s trend. For her part, the Councilor for Celebrations, Laura Ara, has emphasized that, in order to strengthen and energize the activity of these establishments during the Christmas period, new features have been introduced in the Christmas lighting in areas such as Avenida de Bilbao, which will have a “different and innovative” appearance than previous editions.
Likewise, the councilor has pointed out that The lights will decorate Christmas in the eight districts of Camargo, with special preeminence in the streets of the Maliaño-Muriedas urban center. By turning on the lights, the aim is also to send an invitation to the residents of Camargo to make their purchases at local businesses.
