In addition, Chapecoense will have to pay the worker's widow and five children a monthly pension equivalent to the deceased's salary, until 2049, to compensate them for material damages, according to a statement from the court, which did not specify the value of the salary.
The worker's relatives alleged that they had been left totally helpless emotionally and economically because he was responsible for the family's support and they also argued that it was a work accident.
