Ciudad Juarez.- The College of Scientific and Technological Studies of the State of Chihuahua (Cecytech) held a ceremony to award the winners of the second generation of the “Juntos por la Juventud” program. The event was attended by Dr. Oscar Ibañez, representative of the governor, and the director of the school, Sergio Reyes.
The featured project was “Ecology,” presented by a group of ten students, who sought to reduce school dropouts through a fund created by book sales and a hydroponic system. This effort benefited five students with scholarships.
Fernanda Martínez, director of the Chihuahua Youth Institute, and Dr. Ibañez highlighted the importance of the project and encouraged more young people to participate in community initiatives. The ceremony concluded with the symbolic presentation of awards to the students.
