CCXP Mexico 2024 announced that it will host the largest professional cosplay contest in the Mexican Republic, the Cosplay Master by Old Spice. That will be on the Thunder Stage sponsored by Cinemex.
More than 300 cosplayers will participate in this competition. There will be people of all ages as well as propmakers, designers, enthusiasts and even previous Mexican representatives at the World Cosplay Summit in Japan.
Cosplayers such as Kamui Cosplay, who is visiting Mexico for the first time, will be present at the CCXP Mexico 2024 cosplay contest. It is the same case with Little Jem from the United Kingdom, who had never come to this country.

On the judging panel will be Nadyasonika and Twiin Cosplay, the duo composed of Shema Arroyo and Juan Carlos Tolento. All of the aforementioned have stood out for their contributions to the world of cosplay and will continue to do so.
What will be the prizes for Cosplay Master by Old Spice? Well, first place will be won by a latest model car.
Likewise, the 12 semifinalists will be awarded more than $85 thousand Mexican pesos distributed among the first five places and will also have epic access to CCXP México 2025 for the rest of the competitors.
The prizes will be distributed like this:
- Cosplay Master (1st place) – New Haval brand car, Jolion ICE Luxury model in gray and a place at the judges table at Cosplay Master CCXP Mexico 2025
- Best tailoring (2nd place) – $40 thousand Mexican pesos
- Best performance (3rd place) – $25 thousand Mexican pesos
- Best characterization (4th place) – $10 thousand Mexican pesos
- Impact cosplay (5th place) – $10 thousand Mexican pesos
- Semifinalists (6th to 9th place) – Double 'Epic' pass for access to the CCXP Mexico 2025 event
- Semifinalists (10th to 12th place) – Double '3 Day Pass' for access to the CCXP Mexico 2025 event
At Cosplay Universe by Old Spice all enthusiasts of this form of expression will receive the treatment they deserve.
Those who have not qualified can visit Cosplay Universe where there will be daily catwalks with various incentives, as well as interviews, workshops and presentations.
There will still be question and answer sessions with luxury guests and surprises. Cosplayers will have dressing rooms to change, fix their makeup and make other adjustments.
Another option available will be a Cosplay Market with exclusive merchandise and where photos can be taken or autographs obtained at no additional cost.
