Through a publication on its official website, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that the St. Louis International Airport will offer the option to use the Global Entry application (GE) for people arriving in the country.
With the aim of speeding up the process of entering the country and making it easier, the CBP One mobile application revolutionized the way to enter the United States. Powered by the agency, the application is “a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the country,” according to CBP.
Last Wednesday, May 22, the organization reported through its official website that St. Louis International Airport launched GE mobile app on May 17which will result in a simpler, faster and more efficient way for passengers to enter the United States.
How does the CBP One app work?
The resource allows pre-approved citizens to submit their information to CBP upon arrival in the countryand works by verifying the membership and admission status of passengers, who then receive an approval code that they must share with agency officials.
The app generates a code that you must share with a CBP officer upon arrival in the country.

In the statement published through the official website, CBP shared the statement from LaFonda D. Sutton-Burke, director of field operations in Chicago, regarding the usefulness of the program. “The GE mobile app allows members be processed and screened upon arrival on your mobile device and share their admission status with an official, which improves efficiency and reduces touchpoints,” he said.
In addition to using the GE app, St Louis Airport is offering registration for conditionally approved members conduct membership interviews, and use biometric matching technology for greater efficiency in entry and exit procedures.
