The 25-year-old footballer will occupy one of the senior cards of the team led by Pepe Aguilar
Incorporation of carats for the subsidiary of FC Cartagena which was announced this Thursday. Luis Castillo (Benidorm, 25 years old) joins the project of Pepe Aguilar’s boys to strengthen the midfield and bring a dose of experience to that area.
The player, who acted during his career in the positions of attacking midfielder, interior and right back, will give alternatives in the central plot of the pitch.
He is a footballer who was trained in the UCAM Murcia youth academy, where he made his debut in the first team. With the university squad he came to play up to 13 games in Second B.
His interesting performance with Murcia led to his signing for Yeclano, where he exhibited the best level of his career so far. In the 2019-20 season, under the orders of Alejandro Sandroni, he definitely exploded. In that campaign he came to dispute the promotion phase to Second with the whole of the highlands.
The following season he continued in the aforementioned team, but things did not go so well for him collectively, as they were relegated. However, on an individual level he continued to perform very well.
57 games in Second B were his final balance just before signing for the First Federation’s Deportivo Linares at the beginning of last season. After alternating starters with substitutions he ended up in the winter market in Alcoyano, where he was not able to be a starter. Now, he arrives in Cartagena with the aim of relaunching his sports career and leading a dressing room made up, for the most part, of young talents.
