Both Alcaraz and García Muñoz Ledo called a press conference at 7:00 at night but the first to speak was to panista who said that she was always convinced that her project was the winner and thanked the citizens for the trust they have given her in this election to make the first governor of Guanajuato.
He assured that it was demonstrated once again that this, always, was the winning project given that it was founded in a clear proposal about what Guanajuato needs.
“It fills me with great joy to be here and experience this unique moment in the history of our existence. From here I want to thank Guanajuato for their trust, for their dedication, for their solidarity, for their commitment,” said the candidate.
Alcaraz Hernandez even assured that the exit polls gave him a 15 percentage point advantage, which he considered irreversible and with this he assured that a new history for Guanajuato free of corruption of cronyism and favoritism.
“In this government we will be overturning 33 years of poorly governed by the National Action Party (BREAD), where we will be leaving behind all these vices of corruption“, of moches, of favoritism, of unfortunately giving a great rise to violence, all this that a party in government left us,” the candidate explained in her evening positioning.
Regarding the candidate of Citizen movement, Yulma Rocha Aguilar Through his communication staff he reported that he would make his position until the official results were announced. It is worth mentioning that Rocha Aguilar is the candidate for governor with the least popularity.
“Good afternoon, colleagues. Yulma Rocha will hold a press conference in Irapuato, until the official results of the election are announced. We will provide more information soon,” his team reported digitally.
After 8 pm, the preliminary election results program gave Miss García’s Libya an advantage of 57% of the votes over 34% of the votes for Alma Alcaraz, as well as 5.8% for Aguilar Rocha.
