The Canadian Embassy has shared a call to fill the position as Managing Director of the province of British Columbia in Mexico, for an annual salary of $1,247,246 Mexican pesoswhich is equivalent to a monthly income of more than 100 thousand Mexican pesos according to the current exchange rate.
The position of General Director implies being the highest level representative of British Columbia in Mexicowith activities including planning, developing and executing the annual program of trade promotion and investment attraction activities.
Likewise, the General Director must organize and participate in trade fairs and events that promote British Columbia products and services in the Mexican market, carry out promotional campaigns, executive visits, act as the main point of contact with GAC and other government entities, provide advice on commercial policies and ensure compliance with business needs.
In order to apply for the vacancy, you will have to gather a series of requirements essentials:
- Advanced command of English and Spanish
- Minimum of 10 years experience in international business, trade promotion, project management, strategic consulting and public speaking skills. Additionally, at least 5 years of experience leading teams is required.
- Knowledge of economics and commerce
- Bachelor’s degree from a legally registered university
- Experience in diplomatic missions or government organizations will be valued
