Bundestag election 2025: Tens of thousands protest against the right – large rally in Berlin

The young alternative (yes) as a youth organization of the AfD is history – at least in the current form. The association decided at a federal congress in Apolda in Thuringia on March 31, as the head of Berlin, Martin Kohler confirmed. Founding congress planned for new organization

The following steps are now planned: All AfD members under the age of 36 are invited from the AfD board to a start-up congress. There, the party growth should give itself a statute (a kind of statute) and set a name for the organization. The federal board had proposed “patriotic youth”. Only AfD members can belong to the future party youth, with the exception of young people under the age of 16 who cannot yet be a party member.

According to police, around 1,300 people, including union representatives, parties and the initiative “Grandmas against Right”, demonstrated against the JA federal congress in Apolda.
