Comparison is with 2022; The investment bank's total revenues closed at R$21.6 billion
O BTG Pactual closed 2023 with an adjusted net profit of R$ 10.4 billion –25% growth compared to R$8.3 billion in the previous year. The investment bank released its financial statement this Monday (Feb 5, 2024).
Total revenues totaled R$21.6 billion. The increase was also 25% compared to 2022, when it was R$17.2 billion. Here's the complete of the presentation with the results (PDF – 701 kB).
“In a challenging year with high interest rates and tougher credit market conditions, we were able to deliver record performance with significant revenue growth and increased operating leverage”says the company in the statement preceding the results.
Total assets (sum of all assets) ended the year at R$493.2 billion – an increase of 9.5% compared to 2022.
The value of each outstanding share of the bank (per unit) ended the year at R$13.0. In 2022, it was R$11.1.

Adjusted net profit for the period from October to December was R$2.8 billion – an annual increase of 61%.
Total revenue closed at R$5.7 billion, a growth of 56% compared to 2022.
Return on equity ended the 4th quarter at 23.4%. In the same period 1 year before, it was 16.7%. The indicator serves to measure how efficient a company's use of capital is. The higher the percentage, the more the company is able to create results with the funds invested.
