(Reuters) – Brazil recorded 44,154 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday, reaching a total of 29,617,266 infections, according to data released by the Ministry of Health.
Another 304 deaths from the disease were also counted, bringing the total number of deaths caused by Covid-19 in the country to 657,102.
Daily cases of Covid-19 in the country have been decreasing in recent weeks, after a new wave arising from the Ômicron variant caused new records of cases last month.
