Extreme in everything: this is how it can be defined Brabus Crawleroff-road car based on Mercedes G-Class. Powerful, expensive, full of details from true off-road lovers without compromise: this sort of dune buggy it is something truly unique. Or rather, rarely: they will in fact be produced only 15 examples of Brabus 900 Crawlereach for sale at approx 749,000 eurostaxes excluded.
The car is equipped with a 4.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 900 horsepower and 1,250 Nm of torque, paired with Mercedes’ 9G-Tronic automatic transmission. Inside, the four carbon fiber seats have been upholstered in nautical material, the red Silvertex waterproof fabric, for an observation from above since the floor is 53 centimeters from the ground (with adjustable suspensions). Obviously, compared to the G-Class, the similarities stop at the basic design style: the doors have been eliminated, off-road tires with 20-inch Monoblock HD detachable alloy wheels have been fitted and the MBUX infotainment system has also been eliminated. The instrument panel is now more basic, with a single screen for the on-board computer.
There are no doors or windows at the front, side and rear, but a high-performance exhaust system is available instead, with matte black sports tailpipes and actively controlled valves, so that the driver and passengers are able to enjoy the sound without any shielding.
Brabus Crawler is finally equipped with a GPS navigation system that can help in case of extreme adventures, even if given the price and given the prestigious interior finishes perhaps it would be better to use this car in glamorous places like Monte Carlo or Las Vegas. For communication between individual crew members, the Crawler is equipped with a 2-way communication system, which can be used thanks to the four carbon helmets Brabus which are included in the offer.
