In the first media conference that took place in Los Angeles, California, Saúl Álvarez met again with the former boxer of Mexican descent, Óscar de la Hoya, who began to attack the redhead on his social networks.
The founder of the promoter 'Golden Boy Promotion' made it known that the 'Canelo' conference was “boring” and also called the Guadalajara champion “scary” for demanding 200 million dollars from David Benavidez.
Even Óscar de la Hoya knew that Saúl 'Canelo' Álvarez would not greet him after seeing him again the moment they decided to break off the relationship, since the fighter from the Pearl of the West stated that the former boxer is only interested in “business.”
Even, in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Saúl Álvarez railed against de la Hoya by saying that it is only “based on talking stupid things.” Now, 'Canelo' made it clear that he is not interested in smoothing things over with Óscar de la Hoya.
“I'm not interested in being friends with him, I'm fine where I am, I have nothing to do with him and I wish him all the best and that's it,” he said in an interview for the YouTube channel 'Fight Hub TV'.
“I don't want him in my life, I don't want him near me, I don't want that kind of vibe in my life,” said Saúl 'Canelo' Álvarez.
