Another 2022 bonus on your paycheck? While the procedures for the payment of the 200 euro bonus have been started – the first to receive it will be the pensioners and then it will be the turn of the employees (after the delivery of a self-certification) – the government is wondering how to recognize greater liquidity for Italians since the high prices show no signs of stopping. Further measures will be taken with what should be the July decreea measure with which, in addition to putting the salaries in hand, an attempt will be made to limit the increase in bills and fuel.
As he explains Money.itas regards salaries, with this provision a provisional cut in the tax wedge should be approved, thereby increasing net wages at par. We recall, in fact, that the term tax wedge means the set of taxes and contributions that companies and workers pay on their salary. The more this is reduced, therefore, the more the difference between gross and net is reduced.
In detail, the new cut could be for the last four paychecks of the year, so from September to December. All this against a percentage of 4%, with workers who will earn from 50 to 75 euros net more per month. In total, therefore, an overall bonus ranging from 200 to 300 euros, depending on the case.
It must be said, however, that this measure would be reserved for those who are already enjoying the bonus contributions, that is only those with a gross employee income not exceeding 35 thousand euros. For the State this would be an outlay of 2.5 billion euros, with the promise that – as requested aloud by Confindustria – for 2023 it will reflect on a structural reform so as to definitively reduce the cost of labor in Italy
