Ciudad Juárez— The body of a man, loosely wrapped in a blanket, was found inside a sewer in the Parajes de San Isidro neighborhood during the early morning hours.
Municipal police from the Valle District reported the discovery of the body at 4:54 a.m. in a sewer on Volcán Arenal and María Teresa Rojas streets, a preventive agent said.
Last Friday, another body was found in similar conditions, but in a sewer in the Sierra Vista neighborhood, in the same southeastern area, the preventive officer recalled.
The area was cordoned off by officers who notified the State Investigation Agency.
According to official statistics from the FGE, there are now 47 victims of intentional homicide in Ciudad Juárez this month.
