Former mayor Marcos Alexandre (MDB) appears in 2nd place, with 36%; survey was conducted from September 13 to 15
A survey released by Quaest on Monday (16.Sep.2024) shows that, in the dispute for the City Hall of Rio Branco (AC), the current mayor, Tiao Bocalom (PL), has 47% of voting intentions and leads the race for mayor of the capital of Acre. The former mayor Marcus Alexander (MDB) appears in 2nd place, with 36%.
Here is the 1st stimulated scenario (when the candidates’ names are presented) for the 1st round:
- Tiao Bocalom (PL) – 47%;
- Marcus Alexander (MDB) – 36%;
- Emerson Jarude (New) – 5%;
- Janilson Leite, known as Dr. Jenilson (PSB) – 4%;
- blank/invalid/not going to vote –4%;
- undecided – 4%.
The survey was conducted by Quaest from September 13 to 15, 2024. A total of 704 people were interviewed in Rio Branco. The confidence interval is 95%. The margin of error is 3.7 percentage points, either way. The survey is registered with the TSE under number AC-03050/2024.
According to Quaest, the cost of the study was R$83,940. The amount was paid by Rede Amazônica.
