BMW M GmbH recently unveiled its latest creation: the BMW M4 CS, a special edition that sits strategically between the BMW M4 Competition Coupé with M xDrive and the very limited M4 CSL.
This new model, with fuel consumption of 10.2 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 232 g/km according to the WLTP cycle, is not only a tribute to performance, but a clear signal of the brand’s evolution in the segment of luxury sports cars.
With power increased to 405 kW (550 hp), the inline six-cylinder engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology offers immediate response and exceptional driving dynamics. This version of the engine, which also underpins the success of the BMW M4 GT3 in international competition, has been optimized for intensive use on the track, but is also perfectly at home in everyday traffic.
The new BMW M4 CS stands out for its refined chassis and the extensive use of carbon fiber (CFRP) components, which not only reduces weight but also optimizes weight distribution, giving the vehicle superior handling and improved driving dynamics. Standout features include forged M light alloy wheels, standard track tires and an M Compound braking system, with optional M Carbon ceramic brakes available.
Aesthetically, the M4 CS It stands out for its exclusive BMW Individual paintwork, such as Riviera Blue and Frozen Isle of Man Green, which match perfectly with exposed carbon elements such as the bonnet and front splitter. Internally, the vehicle continues to impress with M carbon bucket seats, Merino leather upholstery and a performance-oriented cabin while maintaining modern comforts thanks to the new BMW iDrive system based on BMW OS 8.5.
In terms of technology, the M4 CS it is equipped with cutting-edge systems such as the BMW Curved Display, M Drive Professional with M Drift Analyzer and M Laptimer, and a wide range of options to improve both safety and everyday driving pleasure, such as BMW Head -Up Display with M-specific graphics and driving assistance system.
In production at the BMW Group plant in Dingolfing starting in July, with orders open from the end of May, the new BMW M4 CS is not just a car, but a statement of intent that promises to rise as the new benchmark in its segment.
