“Legends never die”. This is the title of the short video that BMW M Motorsport has published to pay homage to its M6 GT3.
The Bavarian manufacturer from next year will be represented on the track by the brand new M4 GT3, which takes the place of the previous model.
In these seasons, despite often having to compete against updated and newly built cars, the M6 has continued to have its say by hitting important milestones and successes, enclosed in 60 “of images.
So here is the opening of the garage with the car in camouflage livery to take its first steps, to then take to the track in the ADAC GT Masters races, at the 24h of the Nürburgring, along the streets of Macau, cross the ocean to Sebring and Daytona, attack the ups and downs of the legendary Bathurst, and stand out in practically all the most important races in the category.
Naturally, the frames of the most representative successes achieved by their customer teams armed with the M6 GT3 could not be missing, the last of which the Macau GT World Cup and the very tough 24h on the Nordschleife.
In 2022, BMW M Motorsport will finally bring its new gem into action, with the declared aim of being firmly at the top and also taking advantage of the opportunity of regulatory changes to compete again at the 24h of Le Mans in a couple of years.
