For years, BioWare has been working on a new installment of Dragon Age. After the failures that were Mass Effect: Andromeda and Anthem, many hope that the next installment in their acclaimed medieval RPG series will be everything fans have hoped for. Now, The day it was revealed that this delivery has changed its name and finally, we’ll have an official look at this project next week.
Through an official statement it has been revealed that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has changed name to Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Although Dreadwolf referred to the protagonist, The Veilguard is a title that takes into consideration the companions who will make up our team in this new installment. This is what was said about it:
“Each of the seven unique characters that make up your companions will have deep and compelling stories where the decisions you make will affect your relationships with them, as well as their lives. You will join this team of unforgettable heroes as you take on a terrifying new threat unleashed on the world. Naturally, the Dread Wolf still has an important role in this story, but you and your companions (not your enemies) are the heart of this new experience.”
This is not all, since it has been confirmed that the first official look at Dragon Age: The Veilguard will take place next June 11 at 8:00 AM (Pacific time) or at 9:00 AM (Mexico City time). Here, we will have the opportunity to witness 15 minutes of gameplay focused on convincing the public that BioWare’s work is pure quality.

I’m not a big fan of Western RPGs, but I can’t deny the impact Dragon Age has had on the industry, and I can’t wait to see it in action. Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Hopefully, this can be the game that convinces me of the potential of this genre.
