After the many disappointments experienced in recent weeks, both in Spa and in Zandvoort, the return home has finally given some moments of joy to the Ferrari and his people. In front of the packed grandstands of the Monza racetrack, in fact, Charles Leclerc And Carlos Sainz they offered a show, winning the first and third time in the qualifying of the Italian GP. It matters little that the Spaniard will have to fall to 18th position on the grid due to the penalty inflicted on him for replacing the power unit; in fact, the Italian fans rejoiced above all for the renewed competitiveness of F1-75. Without taking anything away from Sainz, however, most of the eyes tomorrow will inevitably be on Leclerc’s car.

Ferrari # 16 will start from pole position, as happened in the magical 2019 race. The dream is to repeat that feat, resisting the predictable comeback of Max Verstappen. Interviewed on the microphones of Sky Sport F1 also Mattia Binotto tried to encourage the young Monegasque talent, thanking the fans for the enormous affection shown and hoping to achieve another success on the home track: “The audience is extraordinary – commented the boss of the Ferrari wall – even today after the pole they cheer and flaunt. Personally, I’m already thinking about what the podium could be tomorrow, in front of all these people. Tomorrow the most difficult part of the weekend awaits us. Charles starts in front of everyone, has a good pace but I’m sure Max will pick it up. Here, however, it is difficult to overcome and I hope there will be a good fight“.
