A consortium of companies that includes the Beto Carrero World, Playcenter and Wet’n Wild parks, as well as Senpar, RTSC and KR Capital, formalized a purchase proposal this week by Hopi Hari.
The project, presented last Tuesday (26), provides for repaying the debts of the park located in Vinhedo (SP), which exceed R$ 250 million. Hopi Hari has been under bankruptcy protection since 2016 and was closed for months before being reopened for the last time in 2017.

The approval of the acquisition must be approved by the court-supervised reorganization meeting of the case, which must pronounce itself next Wednesday (3). According to the investors, who plan to inject more than R$ 150 million into the project, the group of companies has the support of PrevHab and the National Bank for Social Development (BNDES).
In a statement, Beto Carrero says that the acquisition of Hopi Hori will be part of a “great tourist investment in the region”.
